A couple of years ago on FashionShyChild I would share everything about my weight, weight loss and overall heath in general. One day all of that just stopped! And to be honest I was discouraged in myself and basically just fell off of even trying. I didn’t want you all to see my failure and I shouldn’t have done that. I should have showed how there is going to be those ups and downs when your trying to accomplish something, especially weight loss and dealing with the emotional side of food.
Since giving birth two months ago and even through out my pregnancy, everyone has been asking me how much did I Loose and how did I do it. I’m just going to get straight to the point with this one. When I was pregnant and throughout my pregnancy I didn’t gain ANY Weight! Yes, you read that correct I gained nothing. I actually loss 35 lbs in total throughout my pregnancy. I don’t recommend anyone doing that and i didn’t do it to myself aka dieting. My body just responded differently to being pregnant and I was just loosing like it was nothing. It did get to the point when my OB was wondering what was going on but she did see that I was over weight to begin with. So it did help me out.
When it come down to the weight of after pregnancy, I did loose an extra 20lbs. That makes a total of 55lbs in all. I haven’t done anything different and I’m actually eating more to make up for breastfeeding. I don’t want to gain any of it back and that’s when I decided it’s time to get back on track and make a change. That’s what we are going to talk about today.
A couple of weeks ago I was cleared by my doctor. Meaning I can exercise again and basically do whatever’s I want because the main parts have healed. I want to share my weight loss experience with you all again. I know I run a plus size type of blog but being healthy and happy with yourself is most important. So If i could encourage you to exercise, loose weight, change your eating habits or even just drink one extra glass of water a day… I have done something good with the platform I have.
So let’s get into what I’m going to do.
I have updated and got back on to “My Fitness Pal”, so if you have one and want to follow me on there you sure can. I will be updating my weight loss and also sharing exercises I do. If your in the need for some new health apps, I made a list of my favorites in the past and you can find them HERE. I will be mostly walking for now because that works for me and my situation with having a newborn.
That being said I will keep you updated on anything that will change and things that I will add. Remember there is always Snapchat, Twitter and Facebook that you can also check out to get information on what I’m doing throughout the day.
