Happy Beauty Weekend! Since this is the last Sunday in 2012, this post is very special. Beauty Weekend has gave me the advantage to express my love for makeup with you. So lets end 2012 with a BANG! As i bring to you a fabulous New Years Look. Lets get started!
*I am not affiliated with any of the brands shown/mentioned.
* I am not a makeup artist nor have I had any training.
1. Prime those eyelids! I’m using Urban Decay’s Primer Potion. (priming your eyelids will help you eyeshadow stay on longer with out creasing. It also helps some shadows appear brighter)
2. The Quad I will be using to achieve my look is L’oreal Paris Project Runway Limited Edition Quad in 416 The Queen’s Gaze. I numbered the colors 1- 4 to tell you the order to go in. So with number 1. put this color all over the lid and up to under the brow bone. (A review for these Quads will be up soon)
3. Taking color number 2, put this color all over the lids. (don’t put it to close to the tear doc area)
4. Now with colors 3 and 4 place them in the crease and outer corner. (just go back and forth with both in tell you get it to the darkness you like.) When you finish, take a blending brush and blend the crease together and kind of out.
5. Moving on to eyeliner I used L’oreal Paris 16HR Infallible Never Fail Eyeliner in 591 Carbon Black. Add this eyeliner to your top lash line ONLY! (A review for this product will be up some time soon)
6. Lash, Lash, Lash! Get those lashes up and long. I used Maybelline New York Great Lash Lots of Lashes Mascara in 141 Very Black. This mascara will only go on your top lashes. (I want the bottom area to be clean and bright)
7. Give your face some sparkle! Hard Candy’s So Baked Bronzer in 130 Tropics will give your face that extra glow. I added this with an E.L.F. Blush Brush (I am affiliated with them). Add this bronzer like you would do blush and highlight. (I will list the review videos to both the bronzer and the brush at the end)
8. On to the lips! I’m using Wet n Wild 918D Cherry Bomb. To get the perfect lip click Here
All done! I hope this Post helps you with your New Years look. Make sure to Follow me on Twitter to get updated right away.
