Hello everyone and welcome to Beauty Weekend! Beauty Weekend is when i put up a beauty post on the weekend. It gives me a chance to share with you my other passion “beauty” and also help you out with tips and tricks. This weekend and next weekend is going to be all about Valentines Day. So this first look is going to be the classic smokey eye. But not just any smokey eye, I’m showing you how to
do a grey smokey eye. So lets get started with the tutorial!
*i am not affiliated with any of the brands shown or mentioned
*i am not a professional makeup artist, nor have i had any schooling
Step 1: Using NYX eye shadow base in ESB03, prime your eye lids. This is going to be the base for the pigment to stick too.
Step 2: With an eyeshadow brush, pick up some of the white color that’s in the middle of the palette. This color is going to be the highlight and also a color base to help the other colors show true to color. Therefor place this color all over the lids and in the crease.
Step 3: With the same brush pick up the light grey color that is next to the white. This color is going to go all over the lids (but don’t get any to close to the tear doc)
Step 4: pick up some of that darker grey color. this color is going to go in the outer half of the lids. basically its a layering color.
Step 5: The last two color are the colors that are going to be placed in the outer corner and crease. This is were you can get as dark and smokey as you like. Just remember to blend while you are smoking out. (i hope that made any sense 😉
Step 6: Going in with Rimmel London Waterproof Gel eyeliner in 001 Black, line the top eyelash line.
Step 7: Take L’oreal Paris Voluminous Original Mascara in blackest black and apply the mascara to the to and bottom lashes.
We are now done with the eyes. So lets move onto the lips…
We are done with the whole look now. I hope you enjoyed how it turned out. #FSCBW with this look to be featured on here and re-tweeted or Instragram mention. See you next weekend for another Beauty Weekend post!
