Growing up my mom used to make pancakes every Sunday morning. She would get up at 6 a.m. Set the table, so all of use would have a spot to eat at. Then start cooking this “BIG BREAKFAST” like she was going to feeding the whole neighborhood. Even though there was just four of us. There would be scrambled eggs, bacon, grits, sausage and this HUGE plate of pancakes. That use to be the life, but she doesn’t cook like that anymore. Therefor this morning, which happens to be a Thursday and not a Sunday I decide to make birthday cake pancakes for my sister an I(recipe here) This recipe is like having a birthday party in your mouth. Its easy to make and I’m sure kids would love it. Who said it had to be a Birthday to have a birthday cake.
*this is not the kind of pancakes my mom use to cook. She use to make regular ones 🙂
