Growing up my southern grandma used to always tell us, “Children should be seen and not heard”. It was a way and a saying to be well behaved and not to embarrass her. I was always a quit child, so being seen and not heard was easy for me. But one thing that wasn’t quite was my style. I have always been a child that did my own thing… some would call it being rebellious but i call it being me.


Things these days hasn’t really changed. I don’t give a fuck what people think and i still like shopping in the opposite sex section, i still wear all of the piercings that people (including my mom) frown upon and i am always going to own who i am, even if others don’t agree or like me.

That being said 2017 is going to be a little different for fashionShyChild. I am going to be more personal and helpful. I see that i have a lot of high school, college and young adults reading and following me. And in this day in age self confidence and unsureness seams to be really big. So if you have a topic you would like me to cover in my Advice section let me know.
