A couple of weeks ago I was contacted by a lovely lady from Messages In Metal and asked if I wanted to review one of their pieces. I will say that I am not one to respond fast to emails I get when it comes to reviewing anything because I like to take my time and do my own research on the company to make sure they are legit and something that I would agree with. That being said they had something special right off the bat. That is their company background.
Messages In Metal is a family-owned and operated company based in the United States (Montana to be exact). Everything is Designed, manufactured, packaged, and shipped all in Montana. To put the icing on the cake they already have other companies highly rated by the BBB.
When I saw these facts I agreed and got to pick out a piece to review for you all. I knew I wanted something to have my daughter’s name on it but I wasn’t sure what really to pick out. I will say their website is really easy to navigate through but if you’re as indecisive as I am choosing something couple takes some time because of all the different options and styles. But once you do decide everything is smooth from there.

Packaging: The product is shipped in a white box with black print with the company’s name and logo. At first sight, it just looks like a normal packaging box for the size of the product getting. But when it opens the box up, that’s where everything changes. I was not expecting something so luxurious when it comes to the packaging. I was really just expecting a soft fabric envelope of some sort with the necklace in it. But instead, it came with a professional polishing cloth, Two squares of bubble rap a box to hold the product box, and the product in a nice box. I was so surprised and all I kept thinking was how this would really make a great gift.
Product Review: Since you already know I’m obsessed with the packaging. When I got to see the actual necklace I also cried I was so happy and overwhelmed at the same time. I knew what the necklace was going to look like from the beginning since I did pick it out on their website. but pictures really don’t do the product justice. It was so beautifully placed, and shiny and the beautiful black box made it look even more special. I did pick out the Gold Single Ring Personalized Birthstone necklace. It is 24K gold platted over anti-tarnish sterling silver and you do get to pick out a birthstone color that is Swarovski gemstone. I wanted something that had my daughter’s name on it and when I saw this one I thought it was absolutely perfect. Very simple and elegant with enough shine and personality. When it comes to the length of the chain it’s something that you really don’t have to worry about if it’s going to be long enough or fit. It comes with a 20″ matching chain that even has extra length if you need it. The main hole to hook the necklace on was all I needed and it sets perfectly on my chest. When it comes to the weight when wearing it, I’m not going to say you can’t fill it because you can. It’s not heavy by any means but it’s not light like cheap costume jewelry either. So there is a little weight and I personally like that when I’m comparing the quality of a product.

My Final Thoughts: I still can’t get over how beautiful and detail-oriented everything is. I ordered in the past from a custom necklace shop and doesn’t even compare to the quality and experience I had with Messages In metal. Everything is pier perfection and the fact that they are an American-based family own and operated company just makes it even more special. I would highly suggest you give the company a chance and experience everything for yourself because you really won’t be disappointed. Mother’s Day is coming fast and this would make a perfect gift.
