A new month, another TBR!
Welcome to my November 2022 TBR: Books I want to read this month.
My goal for November 2022 TBR is to read as many books as I can. To see if I want to keep them or let them go to a better home. I get like this when it comes close to the end of the year. It’s like my version of spring cleaning but for the end of the year. Start the New Year fresh kind of thing.
Since I have been away, I didn’t get a chance to tell you that I have joined Book Of The Month. It was one of my New Year Goals to read more books and to save a little money each month by buying only one book a month.
If you don’t know what Book of the month is, it’s a subscription service that lets you pick from pre-selected new hardcover books. I do have a referral link you can use if interested. I only get a book credit when you sign up and join but always, thanks for supporting the blog.
The books I want to read this month…
November 2022 TBR
Family Trust by Kathy Wang
Reckless Girls by Rachel Hawkins
The Golden Couple by Greer Hendricks and Sarah Pekkanen
The Book Of Cold Cases by Simon St. James
The Last Mrs. Parrish by Liv Constantine
Ace Of Spades by Faridah Abike-Iyimide
- Family Trust by Kathy Wang
The cover is what caught my eye when it comes to this book. I have the paperback version (i usually never do that). But a book about family, struggles, and culture sounds great.
- Reckless Girl by Rachel Hawkins
Already started this book and I’m invested. It starts off weird to begin with and I can see it just getting weirder.
- The Golden Couple by Greer Hendricks and Sarah Pekkanen
I picked this book from book of the month because it was under Thriller. To be honest, the description isn’t giving it to me. Where is the Thrill? It says it’s about a married couple who is going through infidelity and they trying to make it work for the son basically. Not really up my alley but I’m interested to know what’s going to happen and where is the thriller at.
- The Book Of Cold Cases by Simon St. James
I love murder mystery that takes place in the 70s,80s, and 90s. This story is one based in 1977. That’s right up my alley for a good read. The only thing that scares me about this book is I hope it’s not too detective base. I don’t know, I’m kind of iffy.
- The Last Mrs. Parrish by Liv Constantine
To be honest I wanted to read this book because it comes off as very messy and I’m here for a good messy situation. Anyone that is trying to wiggle their way to hang out with the privilege always makes out for a good story. So I hope Reese Witherspoon was right about this book.
- Ace Of Spades by Faridah Abike-Iyimide
This book has been on my TBR for the longest time. It has been a start-and-then-stop type of reading. If you know me, If I stop a book and move on to another one, I can’t just come back and start reading. I need to start it all over again and get back into the vibe of the book.
I do feel like I’m going to enjoy this book. The fact that it has been described as a Gossip Girl meets Get Out type of vibe really interests me. The cover is also pretty too.
There you have it, the books I want to read this month. I’m looking forward to coming back at the end of the month and discussing what books I read, didn’t finish, liked, and didn’t like. This is going to be a roller coaster ride but I’m excited by some of these picks already. My question for you is what book do you think I’m going to like the most? and What book or books are you going to read this month?
