I decide to take some time out and do this post answering your most asked questions. Iv recently discovered that my blog comments was set to approval and that being said i didn’t get a chance to answer the questions you all have been asking. Im so very sorry about that. But when there is a negative, there is always a positive and that’s how i want to look at this situation.
Most of the questions where predominantly the same type of questions. I also decided to go to Instagram, Twitter and Snapchat to ask if anyone had questions to be answered. So lets hop into them…
Q: Would you mind sharing which blog platform you’re using? I’m planning to start my own blog soon but I’m having a tough time selecting between BlogEngine/Wordpress/B2evolution and Drupal. The reason I ask is because your design seems different then most blogs and I’m looking for something unique.
A: When it comes to the blog platform, i am in the process of looking at other hosting sites and trying to figure out where i want to go. Since you are wanting to start a blog, i always recommend starting out with a free platform. Free platforms are just easerie for beginners and people who want to get started and still really isn’t that sure. The design has nothing to do with the platform because you can always purchase a designed layout online (that works with your platform) and apply it to your blog.
Q: Awesome blog! Is your theme custom made or did you download it from somewhere?
A: I got it off of Etsy. So its paid for and installed my me.
Q: Hey there are using WordPress for your site platform? I’m new to the blog world but I’m trying to get started and create my own. Do you require any html coding expertise to make your own blog? Any help would be really appreciated!
A: When it comes to blogging and coding, NO, you don’t need coding exsperiance but knowing the basics i feel will be a big help. I came into blogging knowing about coding and understanding ( i used to code my own myspce layouts back in the day) but know i am not a coding exspert by any means. Starting out with a platform you feel comfortable with will be my go to answer. This is a platform your going to have to learn how to use and more than anything be on for house a day.
Q: Where are your contact details though?
A: I have a stand alone contact tap right on the top of my page. It even says CONTACT. Also at the very top of the page is all of my social media pages and you can contact me though those.
Q: Superb blog! Do you have any hints for aspiring writers? I’m hoping to start my own site soon but I’m a little lost on everything. Would you recommend starting with a free platform like WordPress or go for a paid option? There are so many choices out there that I’m totally overwhelmed. Any recommendations? Kudos!
A: When it comes to starting your own site/blog it will come off as intimidating at first. but just like i said before stick to who you really are and everything will work smoothly. I would recommend starting out first brainstorming. what do you want your site/blog to be about? What do you want it to be called? What are the first five post and what would they be about? Then yes, i would definitely start out with a free platform. You never know over time if this is going to be something you really want to do in the long time. and less say six month to a year from now you want to start a new blog/site on a whole other topic. Remember nothing is set in stone and if your site/blog works out and does great. You can always move the site over to a different platform.
Q: How long have you ever been running a blog for? you make running a blog look easy.
A: I have been running this blog since 2012 (even though i started earlier than that but those post are deleted). Im happy i can make it look easy for you but in reality its a lot of work. I just really enjoy blogging and i find it fun
Q:Howdy! This is my first comment here so I just wanted to give a quick shout out and say I genuinely enjoy reading through your articles. Can you recommend any other blogs/websites/forums that cover the same subjects? Thanks for your time!
A: That means a lot to me. When i made this blog and write these post i really do put my heart into them. A lot of that also includes being very open and truthful. When it comes to recommending other blogs, i do have the people i consider friends on here and some bloggers that i have just been following for years. Here they go…
Q: Wow that was odd. I just wrote an really long comment but after I clicked submit my comment didn’t show up. Grrrr… well I’m not writing all that over again. Anyways, just wanted to say wonderful blog!
A: Thank You so much for leaving a comment. I really just realized I had my comments on approval. That is really one of the reasons i am writing this post and answering your questions
